Canister, Vapor: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the right rear inner wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the vapor line quick-connectors (1) from the canister.

  4. Disconnect wire harness connector (2) from the Evaporative System Integrity Monitor (ESIM).

  5. Remove the mounting nuts (1).
  6. Remove the canister from the vehicle.
