Tube, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Installation
- Install a NEW
gasket to the EGR tube.
- Install the EGR tube to the catalytic converter with nuts (1) hand tight.
- Install EGR tube to the EGR cooler and tighten the bolts (1) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION

- Tighten the EGR tube nuts (1) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install catalytic converter heat shield. For 2.4L and 3.2L Refer to CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, INSTALLATION or for 2.0L refer to CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, INSTALLATION .
- Install upstream oxygen sensor. Refer to the appropriate service information .
