Removal And Installation

NOTE:

The digital audio broadcast antenna is screened to the liftgate glass and is serviced only with the liftgate glass. Refer to GLASS, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or GLASS, QUARTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the digital audio broadcast antenna jumper cable and the wire harness connector(s) (1) from the digital audio broadcast antenna module (2).

  4. Remove the fastener (1), lower the top of the digital audio broadcast antenna module and slide to disengage the hook (2) from the bottom of the module. Remove the digital audio broadcast antenna module from the top of the liftgate.

INSTALLATION

  1. Position the digital audio broadcast antenna module to the top of the liftgate.

  2. Engage the lower hook (2) and upper fastener insert. Install and securely tighten the fastener (1).

  3. Connect the digital audio broadcast antenna cable and the wire harness connector(s) (1) to the digital audio broadcast antenna module (2).
  4. Install the upper liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
