1. Install new O-rings (1) onto the fuel injector.

2. Apply a small amount of engine oil to each fuel injector O-ring. This will help with the fuel rail installation.
3. Install the fuel injector(s) (3) into the fuel rail and install the retainer clip(s) (2).
4. Install the fuel rail assembly. Refer to RAIL, FUEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
6. Use the scan tool to pressurize the fuel system. Check for leaks.
