Fuel Pump Control Module

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available). 

REMOVAL 

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the right rear wheelhouse splash shield.

    1 - Fuel Pump Control Module Wire Harness Connector
    2 - Fuel Pump Control Module Nuts
    3 - Fuel Pump Control Module
  3. Disconnect the fuel pump control module wire harness connector.
  4. Remove the fuel pump control module nuts and the fuel pump control module.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install the fuel pump control module and securely tighten the fuel pump control module nuts.
  2. Connect the fuel pump control module wire harness connector.
  3. Install the right rear wheelhouse splash shield.
  4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
