Switch, Lock: Installation

  1. Position the front door switch module (1) to the mounting hole in the front door trim panel armrest (2) and connect the wiring harness connector (3) to the front door switch module.
  2. Align the front door switch module to the armrest mounting hole.
  3. Using hand pressure, press the front door switch module firmly and evenly into the mounting hole, until the spring steel retainers are fully engaged.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
