Switch, Lock: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Using a trim stick, or a suitable wide flat-bladed tool, pry the bezel of the front door switch module (1) up and away from the front door trim panel armrest (2), far enough to disengage the switch spring steel retainers from the armrest opening.
- Pull the front door switch module away from the armrest, far enough to disconnect the wiring harness connector (3).
- Remove the front door switch module.
