Isolator, Front CROSSMEMBER, Frame: Removal
- Remove the engine cradle crossmember (2). Refer to CROSSMEMBER, CRADLE, ENGINE AND SUSPENSION, REMOVAL .
- Remove the spacer (1).
- As an installation reference, carefully mark location of the isolator (3) requiring removal from the crossmember (1) (around isolator can flange) using a marker or crayon. Do not use a scratch awl to mark location. NOTE:
Prior to using the special tool, OTC puller 1182 or equivalent (1), lubricate the threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.
- Assemble the tools over the isolator as shown.

- (special tool #6602, Remover/Installer, Bushing) (2)
- Front Engine Cradle (3)
- Isolator (4)
- Using OTC puller 1182 or equivalent (1) and (special tool #6602-2, Remover/Installer, Bushing) (2), remove the isolator (4).
