3.0L/3.6L Left

  1. Install NEW  gaskets.

  2. Install the left catalytic converter assembly (1) in the vehicle.

  3. Install the catalytic converter assembly to muffler flange and tighten the spring nuts (1) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  4. For 4X4 models, Install the exhaust isolator (1) and the tighten the bolts to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  5. For 2WD models, Install the exhaust isolator (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  6. Connect the downstream oxygen sensor wire harness connector (1).

  7. Install the transmission crossmember reinforcement bracket (2) and tighten the bolts (1) to the proper specifications.

    Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

  9. Connect the upstream oxygen sensor wire harness connector (1).

  10. Install the upper catalytic converter flange bolts (1) and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  11. Tighten the lower flange bolts (3) to the proper specifications Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  12. Connect the negative battery cable(s).
