Right Fuel Rail
WARNING:
No sparks, open flames or smoking. Risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel. Risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing.
- Install the fuel rail. Using the (special tool #2025400090, Remover-Installer, Fuel Rail Bolt) (1), tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).NOTE:
Fuel tubes must be replaced anytime they are removed.
- Install NEW
fuel rail tubes. Refer to TUBE(S), FUEL, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the fuel rail pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Install the right fuel injector silencer (1).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Prime the fuel system. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRIMING - DIESEL .
- Start the engine, allow the engine to warm, turn the engine off and inspect for leaks.
- Install the engine cover (1).
