Sensor, Knock: Removal: 2.4L

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, EXHAUST, REMOVAL .
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the knock sensor.
4. Remove the mounting bolt (1) and knock sensor.
