Main Battery: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM .
- Disconnect and isolate the positive battery cable.NOTE:
On the positive cable there is a plastic clip that will be attached to the cable, you must use a trim stick to remove the clip lock to the battery or it will break off from the cable.
- Remove the thermal guard (if equipped) from the battery.
1 - Battery Hold Down Bracket Nut 2 - Battery 3 - Battery Hold Down Bracket - Remove the battery bracket nut and remove the battery bracket.
- Remove the battery from the vehicle.
