Removal And Installation
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the shifter bezel. Refer to BEZEL, SHIFTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the wireless charging pad mat (1).
- Release the retaining tabs (2) and lift up on the rear of the wireless charging module bracket (1).
- Slide the bracket (1) toward the rear of the vehicle to release it from the front of the floor console.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the wireless charging pad module.
- Remove the fasteners (1) from the wireless charging module (2) and remove it from the wireless charging module bracket (3).
INSTALLATION
- Position the wireless charging pad module (2) to the wireless charging bracket (3), then install the fasteners (1) and tighten them securely.
- Position the wireless charging module bracket into the floor console.
- Connect the wire harness connector (3) to the wireless charging pad module.
- Slide the tab on the front of the wireless charging module bracket (1) into the slot on the front of the floor console.
- Lower the rear of the wireless charging bracket until the retaining tabs (2) are fully engaged into the floor console.
- Install the wireless charging pad mat (1).
- Install the shifter bezel. Refer to BEZEL, SHIFTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
