PSSM Programming

Please perform the following steps when the Power Side Step Module (PSSM) has been replaced:

1. Connect the diagnostic scan tool to the vehicle.
2. Perform the vehicle PROXI Alignment procedure.
3. Navigate to the PSSM "Misc. Functions" menu to select and perform the hard reset routine.
4. While in the PSSM menu, enable/configure the PSSM function.

After replacement of the PSSM, the vehicle needs to be driven. During the drive, ensure the vehicle odometer is above 3 kilometers (2 miles) and the speed is above 16 km/h (10 mph) at least once.
