Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

Remove ECT sensor. Place sensor and thermometer in container of coolant. Connect ohmmeter to sensor terminals. Slowly heat coolant. Note resistance at specified temperatures. See ECT SENSOR RESISTANCE  . Replace sensor as necessary.
