Code 25: Pressure Regulator Solenoid Valve
- Disconnect ECM C249 (26-pin) connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 22 (Yellow/Red wire) of ECM C249 (26-pin) connector. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, check ECM connector for poor connection. Repair or replace connector as necessary. If ECM connector is okay, go to step 3).
- Measure voltage between ground and Yellow/Red wire of pressure regulator solenoid valve connector. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, locate and repair open in Yellow/Red wire.
- Check the pressure regulator solenoid valve. Refer to the SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. Replace pressure regulator solenoid valve as necessary. If pressure regulator solenoid valve is okay, check for short or open circuit in wiring harness between pressure regulator solenoid valve and main relay. If wiring is okay, try a known good ECM and retest
