Lower Control Arm: Installation
- Apply general-purpose grease to new tire dust boot.
- Press the dust boot onto the ball joint with a suitable tool.
- Install the ball joint to the lower arm and tighten 2 ball joint mounting nuts and bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install rear control arm bushing with a washer and tighten retaining nut. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the 3 mounting bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Put the ball joint into the knuckle and tighten the lower arm ball joint pinch bolt and nut. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the pivot bolt after installing the front control arm bushing. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Recheck caster and camber and Readjust if necessary.
