Shift Lock System: Operation/Inspection: Normal
- Turn ignition switch to "ON" position.
- Verify that the selector lever is shifted to P range.
- Verify that the selector lever isn't shifted from P range to any other position with not applying the brake pedal.
- Verify that selector lever isn't shifted without applying the brake pedal.

- Shift the selector lever to R range.
- Verify that ignition switch isn't shifted to LOCK position.
- Shift the selector lever to P range.
- Verify that ignition switch isn't shifted to LOCK position.
- Repair it if necessary.
