BRAKELIGHT Switch

NOTE: Brakelight switch consists of cruise brake switch (dedicated to cruise control system) and brakelight switch (part of brakelight system).

Disconnect brake switch electrical connector. Depress brake pedal and loosen forward lock nut. Release brake pedal and position switch in bracket so that its tip just touches brake pedal. Tighten front lock nut to bracket and back off switch 1/2 turn. Tighten rear lock nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reconnect electrical connector. Check brakelight operation.
