Monitor Scantool Data

IG KEY: ON, Engine: OFF
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC) and select "CLOSED TP SWITCH" parameter on scantool.
Is CLOSED TP SWITCH value near the specified value?
1. Specification:
  1. Throttle valve fully closed: ON
  2. Throttle valve open a little: OFF

YES
1. Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector.
2. Fault was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared.
3. If the problem works out, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
1. Go to "Inspection & Repair" procedure.
