Headlight Assembly: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET 
    1. Install a new headlight gasket.
    NOTE: After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
  2. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Install the light control ECU sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MOTOR (for Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Install the headlight swivel motor with the 3 screws and washer.

    3. Install a new grommet to the headlight unit.

      HINT:

      Use the new grommet that is supplied with a new headlight swivel motor.

    4. Install the 4 screws.

    5. Install the headlight protector with the screw.
  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING 
    1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing.

    NOTE: After the headlight leveling motor base packing is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (for Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Engage the tip of the headlight leveling motor with the reflector.
    2. Turn the headlight leveling motor to install it.
  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT 
    1. Install the front bumper side support with the 3 screws.

  7. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WIRE HARNESS 
    1. Connect the connector and install the headlight wire harness.
  8. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the 2 front turn signal light bulbs.
  9. INSTALL PARKING LIGHT SOCKET 
    1. Connect the connector and install the parking light socket.
  10. INSTALL PARKING LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the parking light bulb.
  11. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the No. 2 headlight bulb.
    2. Install a new headlight gasket.
    NOTE: After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
  12. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Install the discharge headlight bulb.
    2. Install a new headlight gasket.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight) 
    1. Install the No. 1 headlight bulb.
    2. Install a new headlight gasket.
    NOTE: After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.
