Height Control Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. When replacing the rear height control sensor subassembly:
      1. Align matchmarks and also the trace of the nut, and install the rear height control sensor sub-assembly and bracket.
    2. When reusing the rear height control sensor subassembly:
      1. Align matchmarks on the rear height control sensor sub-assembly and bracket.
    3. Install the rear height control sensor sub-assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque: Bolt 

      14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

      Nut 

      5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

    4. Install the clamp.
    5. Connect the connector.

  2. REMOVE FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUBASSEMBLY (for 4WD) 
    1. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

    2. Install the front height control sensor sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUBASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 
    1. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Install the front height control sensor sub-assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector.
