Measuring Resistance
- Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control switch.
- Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART
Function switch Terminal Resistance Cruise Main RH 8-7 3.9kΩ ± 5% Cancel RH 6-7 0Ω ± 5% Set/Coast RH 6-7 220Ω ± 5% Resume/Accel RH 6-7 910Ω ± 5% - If not within specification, replace switch.
