- Once after each power-on or software reset

| Enable Conditions |
- The voltage at the ignition line is monitored via a comparator. A failure is detected if the voltage stays below the comparator threshold (approx. 6.0 V) longer than one loop(7ms).

| Fail Safe |
- Controller switch off. The ABS/EBD/TCS/ESC functions are inhibited.
- The ABS/TCS/ESC warning lamps are activated.
