Signal Circuit Inspection

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Disconnect the "TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR" connector.
Measure the voltage between terminal "1" of the "TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR" harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5 V

Is voltage within specifications?
YES : --> Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

NO : --> Check for short to ground in harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
