Signal Circuit Inspection

Key "OFF".
Disconnect FTPS harness connector.
Key "ON".
Measure the voltage between terminal 3 of FTPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V

Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair Short to ground in signal circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
