Measuring Resistance
- Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control switch.
- Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS
Function switch Terminal Resistance Cruise Main RH 1-2 3.9 kΩ ± 1% Cancel RH 1-3 0 Ω ± 1% Set/Coast RH 1-3 220 Ω ± 1% Resume/Accel RH 1-3 910 Ω ± 1% - If not within specification, replace switch.
