Repair procedures: Disassembly
- Clamp the differential case in a vise.
- Remove the differential drive retaining bolts (A) and remove the differential drive gear (B) from the case (C).
- Remove the taper bearing (A).
- Drive out the lock pin (B) from the hole A using a punch.
- Drive out the pinion shaft.
- Remove the pinion gear, washers, side gear and spacers.
