Monitor Scantool Data

  1. Line up wheels as shown in Fig 1.
    1. Perform the wheel alignment.
    2. Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead.
    3. Go ahead and Go back the vehicle 2~3 times without holding steering wheel.
  2. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. Perform SAS (ASP) calibration. Refer to Fig 2.
  4. Disconnect scantool from Data Link Connector (DLC).
  5. Check the condition of "SAS ZERO SET" by operating the vehicle (turn the right and the left at least more than one time)

  6. Is "SAS ZERO SET" completed normally?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known-good HECU and check for proper operation.

      If problem is corrected, replace HECU and then go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR  procedure.
