SYMPTOM

Audio unit locks up or has no bass in freezing temperatures.

REPAIR

Verify the customer's complaint and move the vehicle indoors. If after the temperature inside the vehicle increases the head unit resumes normal operation, consult the head unit manual either in the glove box or on KGIS, to verify the minimum operating temperature for the head unit.

NOTE: This concern is considered normal operation if the complaint seems to occur at or below the minimum operating temperature.
