Repair Procedures: Replacement

Information 

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the front seat shield inner cover.

    (Refer to "FRONT SEAT SHIELD INNER COVER ")

  2. Remove the front seat shield outer cover.

    (Refer to "FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER ")

  3. Loosen the front seat cushion track front mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    44.1 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.5 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

  4. Pull up the front seat cushion track.
  5. Disconnect the rear height motor connector (A).

  6. Loosen the front seat cushion track rear mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    44.1 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.5 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

  7. After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the front seat cushion track (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    44.1 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.5 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
