Function:
The input sensor provides important input information for electronic controls. A wide range of operations use this information, including feedback control, damper clutch control, gear shift control, line pressure control, clutch activation pressure control, and the criteria to determine when the sensor has failed.
Operating Principle: The input shaft speed sensor detects the input shaft RPM in the TCU and sends this information to the TCM.
