DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item		Detecting Condition	Possible Cause
Case 1	DTC Strategy	Feedback: fails to enter, defaults out by Load pulse.	Poor connection Open in signal circuit HO2S (S2)
	Enable Conditions	Duration of Down O2S greater than 0.4 and less than 0.5V for more than 3 sec. Load pulse: End of 3rd pulse. B+ greater than 10.7 V. Heat quantity from exhaust gas around downstream O2S greater than 1~312 kJ.
	Threshold Value	Average of loaded voltage greater than 2.8 V.
Case 2	DTC Strategy	Open circuit, Internal resistance too high.
	Enable Conditions	B+ greater than 10.7 V. EGT around downstream O2S greater than 600 °C (1112 °F) or Heat quantity from exhaust gas around downstream O2S greater than 1~312 kJ.
	Threshold Value	Internal resistance greater than 40 kΩ.
Diagnostic Time		3 sec.
MIL ON Condition		2 driving cycles.
