DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Faulty Steering Angle Sensor (SAS)
  2. Open or short in CAN communication line
Enable Conditions
  • Monitoring a fault in case of no SAS message input more than 100ms.
Fail Safe
  • Inhibit the ESP (ESC) control and allow the ABS/EBD control
  • The ESP (ESC) warning lamp is activated
