Component Inspection

■ Check ECTS Performance 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect ECTS connector.
3. Measure voltage between Signal and ground of the ECTS. (Component Side)

   Specification:  Approx. 1.8kΩ at 81.9°F(27°C)

■ Check IATS Performance 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect IATS connector.
3. Measure voltage between Signal and ground of the IATS. (Component Side)

   Specification:  Approx. 1.5kΩ at 83.3°F(28.5°C)

4. Does the IATS, ECTS operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • "Verification Of Repair" procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace ECTS, IATS and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
