Monitor GDS Data

Ignition switch "OFF"
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition switch "ON" & Engine "ON"
Monitor "Steering Angle Sensor" parameters in "Current Data " with GDS.
Specification: Steering angle sensor parameter value changes in according to actual angle of steering wheel.

Is the parameter displayed within specification?
YES
- Go to "WIRING INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check for CAN related fault in MDPS system.
- If CAN related fault is present in MDPS system, perform applicable troubleshooting steps.
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
