Monitor GDS Data
- Ignition "OFF", Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Shift the gear to the P position & Ignition "ON" (Power Button LED "Red"), and select the "Current Data" mode.
- Check the relevant DTC item of Current Data. (Measure the sensor data through test driving if necessary.)
Specification: Refer to Fig 1
- Is the measured data within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or EPCU's connector or was repaired and EPCU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Checking heat sink temperature changes according to the motor operation
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- Problem still occurs, replace, EPCU and then go to, "Initialization of Automatic Resolver Offset Calibration" procedure.
