Check IATS performance

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect MAPS connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 3 (IAT. Sensor) terminal and Pin No. 4 (Sensor Ground) terminal of the MAPS. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 2.2kΩ at 25°C (77°F)

Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the MAPS and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
