Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF" & disconnect the APS connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 6 (APS.2 Signal) terminal of APS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 3.5V
- Ignition "OFF" & disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 6 (APS.2 Signal) terminal APS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ (infinite)Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
