| DTC Strategy |
- To check CAN Communication status
|
- At the driver's door open state (Out of SMK Sleep mode),
- CAN High line Short and Open.
- CAN Low line Short and Open.
- CAN High & Low line Short
- Contact status of the connector.
- SMK Unit (PIC IMMO Unit)
NOTE:
At the Sleep mode, CAN High line is detected ground level and CAN Low line is detected battery level.

| Enable Conditions |
- At the state of input battery voltage into a SMK
- CAN High Battery Short
- CAN High Ground Short
- CAN High Line Open
- CAN Low Battery Short
- CAN Low Ground Short
- CAN Low Line open
- CAN High & Low Short

| Threshold Value |
- When 12V voltage is detected, the battery shorted and when 0V voltage is detected, the battery grounded.
|
| Diagnostic Time |
- This DTC is set, if failure persists for more than two seconds
|
| DTC Erasing Time |
- After repairing failure, clear DTC immediately
|
