Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the filler-neck assembly.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "FILLER-NECK ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the fuel tank air filter mounting bolts (A).
- Disconnect the ventilation hoses (A) and CCV connector (B).
- Remove the fuel tank air filter & CCV (C).
- Release the lever (A), and then separate the canister close valve (B) from the fuel tank air filter (C) after rotating it in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
