Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the fuel pump.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "FUEL PUMP ")

  2. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (A) and fuel sender connector (B).

  3. Lift the fixing hook (A) by using a common driver, and then remove the fuel sender (B).

  4. Remove the fixing clip (A), and then disconnect the feed tube (B).

  5. Remove the head assembly (B) after releasing the cushion fixing clip (A).

  6. Remove the reservoir-cup (B) after releasing the fixing hook (A).

  7. Disconnect the ground line (A).
  8. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (B).

  9. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (B) after releasing the fixing hook (A).
