Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or using a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Pull out and remove the gear knob & boots.

  2. Remove the gear knob & boots (A).

  3. Remove the console garnish (A) by using a remover.

  4. Remove the front console upper cover (A) by using a remover.

  5. Disconnect the console upper cover connectors (A).

  6. Remove the front console tray (A) by using a remover.

  7. Disconnect the console tray connectors (A).

  8. Remove the console side cover (A).

  9. Remove the console armrest tray (A).

  11. Loosen the console mounting bolts (A).

  12. Loosen the front console mounting screws (A).

  13. Remove the console assembly (A).

  14. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    • Make sure that the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damage clips.
