Repair Procedures: Inspection

- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the temperature control actuator connector.
- Verify that the temperature control actuator operates to the cool position when 12V is connected to terminal 3 and ground to terminal 7.
Verify that the temperature control actuator operates to the warm position when connected in reverse.
- Connect the temperature control actuator connector.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between terminals 5 and 6.

- If the measured voltage is not within the specification, substitute with a verified temperature control actuator and check for proper operation.
- Replace the temperature control actuator if it is proved that there is a problem with it.
