Description And Operation: Removal

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the battery.
(Refer to "BATTERY ")
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to "AIR CLEANER ")
Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).
Remove the ECM & bracket (B) after loosening the mounting bolt and nuts,
ECM bracket mounting bolt/nut:

9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the ECM after loosening the mounting nuts and screws from the ECM & bracket.
