Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Move the shift lever to "N" range.
  2. Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  3. Remove the knob & boots (A) by pulling in the direction of arrow after removing the boots from the console upper cover.

  4. Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to "CONSOLE ")
  5. Disconnect the main connector (A).

  6. Remove the shift cable (A) from the shift lever.

  7. Remove the shift lever assembly (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
