Control Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect VIS (Variable Intake System) connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of VIS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx 3.5V
- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 2 (Control) terminal of the VIS.
Specification : ∞
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
