Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect battery (-) cable.
- Refer to REPLACEMENT And ESC CONTROL MODULE disconnect crash pad switch and HECU connector.
- Measure the resistance between Pin No. 5 (ESC/ESP OFF) terminal of crash pad switch harness connector and Pin No. 8 (ESC/ESP OFF) terminal of HECU harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1 Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
