Ground Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Refer to INJECTOR DRIVE BOX (IDB) and disconnect IDB connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 48 (Ground) terminal of IDB harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 49 (Ground) terminal of IDB harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 50 (Ground) terminal of IDB harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1 Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "POWER CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open in ground circuit between IDB and chassis ground and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
