Repair Procedures: Replacement

Information 

• When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
• Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
• Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1. Remove the front seat assembly.

   (Refer to "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

2. Remove the front seat shield outer cover.

   (Refer to "FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER ")

3. Remove the front seat shield inner cover.

   (Refer to "FRONT SEAT SHIELD INNER COVER ")

4. Push the lock pin (B), remove the front seat headrest (A).

5. Remove the front seat lower protector (A).

6. Remove the front seat back board (A).
   1. Separate the upper back cover by pushing the lock pin (B) in the direction of the arrow.
   2. Remove the front seat back cover (A) by lifting in the direction.

7. Separate the clip (B) and remove the air ventilation duct (A).

8. Disconnect the front seat heater connector (A).

9. Pull out the hooks (A) from the front seat back frame.

10. Turn the front seat back cover inside out. Then pull out the headrest guides (A) while pinching both side of the lower part of the guides, and remove them.

11. Remove the front seat back cover (A) from the front seat back frame.

12. Remove the hog-ring clips (A) on the back and remove the front seat back cover (B).

13. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Information 

• Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly.
• Replace any damaged clips.
• To prevent wrinkles, make sure that the material is stretched evenly over the cover (B) before securing the hog-ring clips (A).
• Replace the hog-ring clips with new ones using special tool [09880-4F000].
